pdate: Pure excitement: The winner of this year's 48th Berlin Marathon has been determined: Eliud Kipchoge wrote a new world record with the incredible time of 2:01:09 hours and improved his own best time by half a minute!
Another surprise was the sensational course record of the Ethiopian outsider Tigist Assefa. She started with a personal best time of 2:34:01 before and ran the "race of her life". At the end she won the race in 2:15:37 hours. Congratulations!
The next Berlin Marathon will definitely come next year - for those who want to start "small" first, the Berlin Half Marathon is recommended...it starts on 02.04.2023.
