Fairytale newcomer in Teltow
After the first hotels of the Grimm's family in Berlin Mitte and at Potsdamer Platz had successfully established themselves over the years and the unique concept seemed to be well received by the guests, it was only a matter of time before they thought outside the capital. The choice fell on Teltow in Brandenburg, a rural town with ideal connections to nearby Berlin. It was here that the third Grimm's Hotel finally opened on 14 September 2021.
Staying like in a fairy tale
Like the other hotels in the chain, the thread of the Grimm’s fairy tales has been continued in the new hotel and here, too, guests can choose between lovingly designed rooms with references to the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm. Depending on the individual wishes of the guest, they can stay with the “Frog King” the “Brave Little Tailor”or with “Hans in Luck”. In each of the rooms there are small quotations, pictures and motifs that discreetly allude to the corresponding fairy tales and thus literally bring them to life. It is this special attention to detail that makes the hotel particularly appealing to families.
Plenty of room for creativity
The fairytale-inspired theme continues not only in the rooms, but also throughout the hotel’s public spaces. Starting with the chic lobby, through the stylish restaurant and bar area to the spacious meeting and event rooms. The light-flooded rooms with their high ceilings offer the ideal atmosphere for workshops, meetings or even business lunches. There are also plans to further expand the hotel’s roof terrace to provide a unique space for events.
Dine like a king or queen
The third hotel in Teltow is the second restaurant to open under the name Tischlein deck’ Dich. Here, too, the fairy-tale theme is continued both in the atmosphere and in the culinary offerings, as a first glance at the menu reveals. The restaurant is by no means only open to hotel guests, quite the contrary, because Tischlein deck’ Dich is intended to be an ideal place to relax and enjoy for all hungry guests from the region and any visitor from outside. For the coming years, it is also planned to make the restaurant and the event rooms available for various cultural events in order to sustainably improve the region’s cultural offerings.
The best of two worlds
Teltow’s unique location on the outskirts of the capital also offers a wide range of tourist opportunities, both in Berlin and beyond. Thanks to a direct connection to Berlin’s S-Bahn network, you can reach the city centre in just 30 minutes without having to change trains even once. At the same time, the nature around Teltow offers ideal conditions for hiking, cycling or canoeing. If the weather doesn’t allow for an excursion, the hotel’s fitness room is a great place to release excess energy. But not only active holidaymakers can feel at home here. Those who simply want to relax are invited to try out the restful bio-sauna and the associated relaxation room.
